Garlic is magic, don'tcha think?!

@Albert: Yeah, AndreAnna mentioned cauliflower! And caramelizing is a must -- as you can see from my broccoli picture, right? That's what makes it so crunchy and sweet.Nenette Alejandria Mayorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04519714210354478057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5554671041186726858.post-82384218128826147312010-03-22T19:52:24.346-05:002010-03-22T19:52:24.346-05:00You can do something similar with cauliflower, e.g...You can do something similar with cauliflower, e.g. http://www.grouprecipes.com/sr/21827/popcorn-cauliflower/recipe/
but you can skip the spices and it's just fine. I like to sautee it in a pan with some olive oil and garlic, and then add a little beef stock or chicken stock, cover, and braise for a few minutes. I finish it off with a pat (or sometimes half a stick) of butter and a sprinkle of sea salt. It's yumminess on steroids. Like curried cauliflower or spicy green beans. Be brave!AndreAnnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12102680027953333309noreply@blogger.com
