They're little heavenly bites of vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate.

Can't help you with the music. I think it sucks too.Nenette Alejandria Mayorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04519714210354478057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5554671041186726858.post-52091425387905272992008-09-15T20:39:00.000-05:002008-09-15T20:39:00.000-05:00There you go making me look like Attila the Hun fo...There you go making me look like Attila the Hun for rationing my kids' treats.

To be honest, they do get a sufficient supply of treats made with love by their supermother (and I get whatever they don't see me sneaking...) but we are pretty strict on the pure sugar store-bought junk. A couple years back our eldest was quizzing me on why she couldn't taste my Slurpee, when she could have one, etc., and I casually said something like "oh, when you're older, maybe 10 or something" and now that's accidentally turned into the focus of her 10th birthday in 2009. She's already planning "ok, can we go to the 7-11 in the morning that day, or does it have to be after lunch?". I guess it's good to have something to look forward to in life.

Damned if I can't remember what I intended to say when I started this comment....

Oh, yes --- your kids really complain about vegetables? We just drilled it into them that lunch and dinner include vegetables, and they actually like almost everything, including the usual veggies of terror like brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, etc. If you have trouble serving cauliflower, google "popcorn cauliflower" --- easy and one of their favourites.

And dibs? What the hell are dibs? You know you're getting old when you not only don't like the music but you don't even recognize the names of the candy...Albert Bannatynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01679417690640475683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5554671041186726858.post-15493590191214773172008-09-15T15:41:00.000-05:002008-09-15T15:41:00.000-05:00Dibs ROCK! Yummy!

You are totally justified in using tongs. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5554671041186726858.post-33026016291550948962008-09-15T15:15:00.000-05:002008-09-15T15:15:00.000-05:00Oh how I love Dibs!
