Mini is 4.5yo, and Lam is 6.5yo. And I've always wondered what goes on in their minds when they think of their mommy.
Now, I know they won't tell what they REALLY think -- especially when they're allowed only one piece of cake or banned from playing video games -- (although I'm sure I have a good idea), but this little meme gave me a little glimpse into their massive brain matter.
To avoid any cross-contamination, I interviewed these monkeys separately, because you know, they're monkeys. The boy's answers made me laugh. Especially #11 & #12. LOL!

Hi. I'm

12 comments - LEAVE YOURS HERE...:
*very* adorable. Quite the window (I <3 Lam's #12 - brat!)
I've got mine in the queue, but have yet to nail down #2 for her responses (I made a point of isolating #1 for hers, as it seems you've done). I think one of them said my favourite thing to do was laundry, which would explain why they go out of their way to generate it.
Would that be Atomic Netty? :)
I love that you'll become famous for putting Mini on your blog. :)
These always crack me up! Good idea on separating the two so there was no cross contamination.
I really need to do this with my kids, ti shoudl be good for a laugh or two at my expense!
I love this post. Makes me wish I can interview both my kids now too. Hehe. :-)
Your kids are very funny. I'm almost afraid to interview mine... nah, I'm going to try this. Separating them will be the issue.
@harmzie:
yes, I don't think he knows what Mommy used to do for a living. Bwahaha!
@kyooty:
good one, Mary! :)
@Asianmommy:
she surprises me with her insight!
@Kami:
I was putting this off for a while, unsure if I should do it or not. But they loved it, and it was fun for me.
Do it! I think you'll be surprised with your results. :)
@Shai:
Your son might be old enough, right? :)
@Su:
Why not get that hubby of yours to help distract one while you interview the other?!
But to be honest, I was a little afraid too. :)
Nine feet tall. :)
Apparently you have some pretty amazing life-saving skills (#15) so it's a good thing you go for balance, Relaxi-Mom. And you do almost nothing with your son. Those are my faves: Hilarious.
I wish I'd done these every year with both kids.
@Musing:
Yeah, I'm not sure where she got that number! LOL
@Andrea:
Yes, balance is key! :) I think I deserve it after the 200 aliens thing.
Yeah, the 'almost nothing' made me laugh. Priorities, I guess, right? He only remembers that I won't play video games with him because it make me motion-sick. :)
I think I *will* do it every year. I guess you can do that with M, and it would still be interesting to find out which cartoon character Z thinks you would be. ;)
you apparently eat a lot of sushi and give good hugs! :)
@Carlene:
I guess I could be famous for worse things, right?! LOL :)
