"the dailies": a healthy addition to the LC sidebar...

"A picture speaks a thousand words", and the picture in my The Perfect Jacket post nearly bowled me over with its booming message. It's all in the face. The cheeks have gone from flat (because I don't have high cheek bones) to round, and when that happens, I know I'm not at my best health, weight, and bodyfat level.
I almost didn't post that picture because I didn't think it was very flattering, but hey, I'll call that my "Before" shot. :)

Yeah, I'm doing something about it. Am I dieting? Nope. Am I CRONing? Not really. I'm just making healthier choices.

I've taken a tip from Anthony at RawModel.com, who said: "Add in the good stuff now, worry about cutting the bad stuff out later..." (This was also the recommendation of CRON pioneer, Dr. Roy Walford.)
That means, load up with healthy veggies and fruit first!... Such a simple and obvious concept that so many, including myself, miss!

In his post, Anthony shares his experience saying "the idea of sacrifice for health will not produce a healthy person, and certainly not a happy one". In my case, it turned me into a screaming banshee on more occasions than I'm willing to admit.

So, with Anthony's words, and ultra inspiring pictures (seriously, check out his blog), resonating in my brain
, I decided to make myself a daily get-healthy TODO list that encourages the addition of good stuff while not restricting the bad stuff.
It's been around for a few days, but if you haven't seen it yet, check it out on the sidebar over here on the near right.

Over the past week, following my dailies list, I've come to enjoy eating fruits and vegetables like never before, trying easy veggie recipes and tasty, raw, blended concoctions. I still eat a meal or two with chicken, but not as much because I fill up with veggies and fruit.

I decided to put my dailies on my blog, because I visit my blog everyday (and you should too!), and it may inspire my readers to do the same.

So, if you decide to do your own list of daily get-healthy TODOs, please let me know! I'll give you some link love. :)
